Hammer
Hi, not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes... On the webpage for the 1960 Standard Les Paul VOS, http://www.gibsoncustom.com/flash/products/lespauls/60/1960Standard.html there is a sound sample of it playing. The riff from about 8 seconds on is driving me crazy, I recognise it but can't work out what tune it is. Is it Rolling Stones? Does anyone have any idea? Cheers! P.S. It's also the guitar I dream of owning! One day not too far away hopefully!
MikeRom
Sounds a bit to me like tumblin' dice (first part) and brown sugar (second part). The custom shop forum admin plays all of those sound bytes. Impressive, no?
Hammer
Thanks for that! Yeah he's awesome. Its the crunchy tone that he gets out of that guitar that really knocks me out, I just love it.
