RudyH
I seldom turn up my amp much at home, but I just did last night and the sound from the amp seemed to keep the strings vibrating. Is that to be expected? When you play at home do you sit directly in front of the speaker? That's what I'm doing.
RichCI
That's normal and why we like to crank it! There are couple of things at play here... 1) If you have a tube amp, the amp starts to compress as you push it harder. 2) As you play louder, the amp starts to interact with your guitar due to the sound level causing feedback in a good way.
