RichG
Hi John. Thanks. I have a friend who has fallen in love with a 1937 AJ in a shop here locally. You may know of it. The asking price seems steep and we are trying to get an idea if it's anywhere near reasonable. I know stuff like this is tough, but I know free advice is worth what you pay for it. I just don't know enough about the market for the AJ these days. The asking price is $50K. Compared to prewar J 55 and J 35 that seems steep, but like I say, I've never seen one for sale so I have nothing to compare it to. He may contact you. His name is Todd Evans Rich
