tweed2
While a familiar looking package for Epiphone (and Gibson), there are a few differences. The switches acted like a rotary Vari-tone, a little gimmicky, but hot, at the time. The up side? You can use the choke and capacitors in various combinations. Better sound with the mini humbuckers, than the standard model with p-90s. The down side? You can't play both pickups at the same time. The 25 1/2" scale neck, wide nut and hollow body, with no f-holes, made for a unique player. Not a popular guitar, but a sleeper in the classic guitar world.
