copernic304 Posted February 8, 2014 Share Posted February 8, 2014 Hi, I would need some help in dating/identifying the LP Custom I have acquired some time ago. It is a Custom 1954 Reissue from the 90s. It has its grovers tuners, and pots are dated from the 47th week of 1993 (R1379347 code). It comes with the brown/pink Gibson case, has a Historic Collection Logo at the back of the headstock. Its Serial Number is 7 6206. Caps have been changed by the previous owner at some point for PIOs, but original cpas were ceramic discs. Everything is right to me about this guitar, except for the serial number, which reads like a 1996 1957 Reissue. Can you help me with this one ?
