Haza1981
Hi, I unscrewed my pickups to replace them on my epi Les Paul and around the screw holes where the Pickup housing screws in The paint had chipped. It's it likely this will spread? Do I need to use touchup lacquer and would this stop the spread? The chips are covered by the housing so it's just to stop it spreading Thanks
Whitmore Willy
It's not likely to spread. The coating is polyester. If you wish to touch it up: No Lacquer. Use nail polish. Willy
vomer
What Willy said. Or, as an alternative to nailpolish, you can use superglue which gives a hard, clear, sandable and polishable finish.

The good part about the Super Glue method is that you can go from a mild one drop touch up to undetectable perfection: Also, use quality super glue. They are not all the same.
