alutfim
Hi everybody! So, I bought an Epiphone EJ-160E John Lennon series last week and have a sorta major problem that annoy me enough, it is a bad hum. When I plugged the EJ160E to the Amp, it sounds a lot of noise and humming so bad (it’s not normal because it’s humming so bad even though with a low volume, I have compare it with another guitar – it will hum with high volume which is normal). Although I touch the string or play the chord, the hum is not reduced at all, but the hum is clearly disappearing when I touch the jack of my instrument cable. Any ideas to fix this problem, please? old mark
Could be a loose ground wire connection. The pickup on these guitars is a stacked humbucker which is pretty quiet...
