Not planning on this but just curious. Does the pro version have a white nut? I think they were originally cream then they must have had a shortage of those and now they fit black ones. Hardly a project but hey, whatever makes you happy. SV Stormy Monday Posted March 9, 2014 Share Posted March 9, 2014 I have a cherry ES-339 Pro. Only cosmetic things I have done so far is removed the pickguard and swap the knobs for amber speed knobs. I would be curious about a pickup swap since the stock pickups connect to a small circuit board at the pots. Looks like changing pickups will require a rewiring.
