burchster Posted April 8, 2014 Share Posted April 8, 2014 Hello all Im new here and I know this has been discused many times. I recently bought a new ebony sherry. The first one I recived had the 3 or 5 however you look at it laminated side ways neck like the natural ones. You could see this under the finish. Well a vine in the headstock inlay was cracked in half so i sent it back for another. This one seems to have the scarfed neck. I know it shouldnt bother me but I prefer the style the first one had. While Im keeping the guitar my question is will the scarfed one hold up as well and what kind of neck do other peoples solid colored MIC sherrys have.
