Chuckster Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 I purchased a 'used' Epiphone AJ18S from a pawn shop last week for $140.00.......I liked the guitar's action but the main reason I bought it was to add to my 'growing' collection of Epiphones. My question is two-fold....was this a fair price or did the sales clerk 'see me coming'? Also...can anyone here 'enlighten' me about this model? Thanks in advance.
mgrasso Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 That is a good price. If the six string plays and sounds as nice as the 12 string, it's a great price. I got my AJ18s12 foe $140. Been looking for the six string version since. Nice sloped shouldered, solid top guitar. What is the back? Mahogany? Get her set up and you should have a lot of fun with her.

I was starting to feel that I paid a little too much but feel much better now that you say it's a 'great price!'........it definitely NEEDS a new set of strings. I'll put them on and see where I go from there....thanks again!! Chuck
zombywoof Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 I recently ran across one in a Goodwill store with a $170 price tag so based on that I would say you got it at for a really nice price.
