Taylor Player Posted January 9, 2009 Share Posted January 9, 2009 If your talking acoustic guitars, my personal favorite repair tech/luther is at "the Podium". Marty is the luthier/repair guy there and there is nobody better. You also could not go wrong by taking it to "Hoffman Guitars". Both are located in Minneapolis (The Podium is in Dinkytown on the U of M campus and Hoffman is just south of I-94 by 35W.) I know Marty also has worked on Electric guitars and built a few as well. For electric I don't have personal experiance but I have never heard a bad thing about "Browns Guitar Factory" in Inver Grove area. I have heard that his setups and repair are top notch. I would also likely trust the guys at "American Guitar & Band" store in Maple Grove or Willies Guitar in St. Paul. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
