What is that, like $950 or so U.S. dollars?

If the guitar is down the road it might be a hoot to go look at.

But the simple answer be Nope. Yeah, I know, it is said that a few gems snuck out of the factory (although everybody who owns a 1970s Gibson seems to have one of those precious few) but chances of it sounding like anything other than a turd are not good. And if you are looking for a beach guitar there are plenty around that will sound better and cost you less.

It's a fair, even quite good price by UK standards, but they aren't great. If you want a cool looking kinda sorta vintage Gibson to use as a stage guitar it might be worth looking at, but even buying new I think you can get a much better sounding acoustic for that kind of budget.
