RudyH Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 What's a good cleaner for an ES335 with a nitro finish? I usually wipe my guitar with one of the yellow cloths. Rigormortis Posted January 15, 2009 Share Posted January 15, 2009 With my ebony 335, you know I'm familiar with those yellow guitar cloths! I have used about everything, and I come back to the old-school guitar polishes from Gibson or Ernie Ball, etc. that are made for nitro finishes. Every now and then, I use some kind of axe wax, which makes it shine nice for a photo but it doesn't really help in the long run because it leaves some surface film that collects finger prints and I wind up rubbing off with the Yellow Cloth.
