emgee
I just picked up a 2005 JPP, #809, and am curious why the bridge pickup is black. In all of the pics and video I have seen of JP playing his Les Paul #1 this pickup is white. I was under the impression that this Custom is an authentic replica of JP's LP #1. Also, I know the run of this guitar is called "unlimited", but what is the rough # of guitars that were made? Most people seem to put it at 860 - does that seem about right? thanks,
Custom Admin
that pickup is black because we reproduced the guitar as it exists today, not as it was back in Zeppelin's heyday. and yes, 860 is the highest number of this run.
