That doesn't make sense. Jackson (and other metal guitar companies) still copy the V and explorer shape and I've haven't heard of any recent or upcoming lawsuits. That looks as a Jackson Avenger (today known as "Randy Rhoads"). The shape is the idea of the MAN Himself - it has nothing to do with Gibson in any way. Cheers...
