fast Eddie
I have an sg electric. Has bigsby, 2 pickups, big block fret board inlays and custom style inlay on head stock.serial # is 0526xx.I would appreciate any info about this guitar. It sounds great but usually customs have 3 pickups. Why does this one 2 pickups? Trying to upload pics.

Ryan H
Well, it's 6 digits so definitely early-mid 70's...Serial # starting with a 0 implies 1973, and that's about all it'll tell you...the 70's were a weird time for Gibson. There were/are SG Customs with two or three pickups, just as there were Les Paul Customs with two or three pickups. Bigsby could have been aftermarket or it could be factory, no clue. -Ryan
