Brian E.
Howdy ya'll! I got a used Casino for $600 and wondered if it's a good deal. I think it's a 1996 Korean. It's in really good shape, and I like it a lot! Any advice on maintenance? String gauge? etc?

Parabar
A 90's Peerless-made Casino should be an excellent guitar. You likely could have found one for less, but if you don't live near a major metropolitan area, your choices are more limited. For maintenance, wipe it down with a soft cloth after every playing and keep it in the case when not in use. String gauge is a matter of personal preference, depending on your preferred tone, how much note-bending you do, and how strong your fingers are. Congratulations and enjoy! Jeffery Smith
I paid a little extra for a used Korean-made Dot based on its country of origin. I'm biased toward Korean Epiphones.
