ajay
Does anyone know of a nice set of three on a side tuners that would be a direct fit for a Gibson B-15? I am assuming that they would be the same screw pattern as a B-25 or any other student model. They're actually for my Kalamazoo, but the Kallie is the same exact guitar as a GibsoN B-15, the only difference being the headstock writing. The headstock Is the exact same shape as the Gibson B-15. bobouz
I would think the three-on-a-plate enclosed Klusons would fit. They're available at Amazon for about $40.
Boyd
Maybe these? http://elderly.com/accessories/items/AART3-B.htm Or these? http://www.stewmac.com/Hardware_and_Parts/Tuning_Machines/Guitar_and_Solid_Peghead/Golden_Age_Restoration_Tuners_for_Solid_Peghead_Guitar_with_Scallop-end.html I put some of the Golden Age tuners on my 2008 J-50 and they look great but the action is a bit stiffer than I would like. Have heard good things about the Antique Acoustics, but they are rather expensive. The scale drawing of the Golden Age tuners is nice. I actually imported it into my CAD software, adjusted the scale and printed it out full size. That made it easy to confirm that it would fit the guitar. Those "Golden Age" tuners from Stew-Mac are perfect. Also, a great price for open-back replacements. Awesome!
Boyd
Glad I could help. The price is good and they look great. Just note my comment about the action, they are a bit stiff and I have thoroughly lubed them. Not a big problem, but they could be better.
