I can be as precise as precise can get. I've been doing it for years. It's one of the things in life I enjoy doing. A lot of what I know I learned pre internet. LPS1976 Posted September 4, 2015 Share Posted September 4, 2015 i think I should add that the chances of the holes being mis-drilled are slim to none. they may have moved slightly over time but I agree....if it ain't broke... these bodies were made at Terada and they are not known for skimping on important details like this. also, these poles are directly mounted to the top. there is no anchor. by trying to pry it up you'll probably damage the thumb wheel and the post not to mention adding a few marks on the top of the guitar Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can remove them and reinstall them in literally 5 seconds. You guys are helpless. I doubt a luthier could help you guys. You'd probably get lost driving home.
