I know the were Shaws. What I don't know is which version were used. Any info would b greatly appreciated.

I know the were Shaws. What I don't know is which version were used. Any info would b greatly appreciated. Yes, Shaws. They were an attempt by Gibson to make a copy of early PAF's. I have several guitars with Shaws. AFAIK there was only one type but they did seem to vary a little as far as output. They are also a little on the low output side. The set in my 1982 korina V sounds as good as anything I have. They sound a lot like Classic 57's.
