gnappi
I've seen the LP custom "Prophecy" series popping up for a while what's the deal over a standard Epi LP custom? Also I've seen some customs saying they're an "EE" series with an EE on the prefix. Are they better made than other factories?
LPS1976
I've seen the LP custom "Prophecy" series popping up for a while what's the deal over a standard Epi LP custom? Also I've seen some customs saying they're an "EE" series with an EE on the prefix. Are they better made than other factories? the Prophecy models have 24 frets, come with a case, and have either Gibson 490R and 498T or EMG pickups. a good way to compare is on Sweetwater's site. you can check both models and click compare and it will display a side by side comparison. "EE" is not a series and they are no different than the current models being produced. "EE" was a factory prefix used before Epiphone switched over to all numbers in their serial numbers. "EE" is the prefix for their own Qingdao factory also factory 15 in the current models. hope that helps
RobinTheHood
The Prophecy neck also joins at the 18th fret instead of the 16th for better upper register access.
