Been a here and there user of New Tones the last 5 years and like them. It's a matter of weeks before another set goes on the re-necked, newly re-nutted '66 CW. Not until after that happens it will be possible to really evaluate how that tusq-replacement sounds, , , compared to water-buffalo-horn one and the first narrower spaced tusq nut. Yes, it'll take some kind of hyper-sonic-memory, but I actually recall the sound of the old t-nut very accurately.
