Kwestking Posted November 8, 2015 Share Posted November 8, 2015 Hi, I'm desperate for information so here goes: I have an Epiphany es 175 with an aftermarket roller bridge. I bought a "Gretsch" Bigsby B6 and mounted it in the es-175. It works well, but the Low E pops out of the roller often. Ive tried adjusting the mount, but then the high E pops out. The problem is that the Bigsby was probably made for a Gretsch with a thinner neck and bridge. I think I need to replace the bigsby with another model but I can't seem to find a list of string width spacing specifications for all bigsby models. I really can't find any! Is there a Epiphone Guru here who knows what I'm talking about...? I posted the on the Bigsby forum but no one has used it in over a year! Thank you all... kidblast Posted November 9, 2015 Share Posted November 9, 2015 Any reason for not trying the B7, as it adds the tension bar that the stings will ride under on the way to the bridge. It would seem that is what you're lacking as the B6, doesn't have this. I have three archtops with B7s as well as a les paul, and they work great.
