I obtained clarity today on the total production numbers I can confirm the following effective June 11, 2009: * There will be 2000 TOTAL Dark Fires produced - NOT 2000 for North America, and 2000 for rest of the globe ( 4000 total) * The guitar will meet or exceed your expectations. Someone might want to fix those; maybe also do a quick check on the other dates and spellings. #1407 is still shown as owned; but, I think brianv said he got rid of it (sold?)... Back then I heard they had the most bars per square mile in the world or something. Those were the days. Did a lot more giggin' then too. If you are ever in the area you should check out The Music Gallery. Tons of great guitars and the guys there are old school - not like the dicks at Guitar Center. God I hate that place. I thought of adding a column where people would put in a URL pointing to their pics but then moved on. We can do this once we put the independent forum together over the next few days.
