Spot
Hey guys,...was looking at a '90's 355 and noticed that there was no "Made in USA" stamp on back of headstock (which I have not seen before on a recent model 355). I know that some Vintage models did not come out of the Kalamazoo factory like this. Has anyone ever come across this before?

spitball
As far as I know most, if not all ES-355 models made after the early 80's would be from a limited or custom run of some kind. They may not get the Made in USA stamp. This is merely conjecture on my part...

I've seen about 10 of these late 80's models and thy all have MADE IN USA on them. I wonder if it's just a random error in sending these guitars out of the factory with out the stamp. spitball
If you have more pics, please post 'em. If anything else is odd, maybe we'll detect it. More likely, we'll just have a beautiful ES-355 to feast out eyes on!
Swift Nick
They may just have had an off day in the factory and lost the stamp! My ES137 has only a faint 'Made in USA' stamp on the back of the headstock - far less pronounced than on others I've had. Fortunately none of this affects tone!
