Identification request, possibly late 60's LG-0

Thanks for your help in identifying the make and year of this guitar, which was handed down to me by my uncle. Serial number is 878725, no sticker inside guitar, though there is a mark (visible in photo) that may be LG. My best guess from Googling the serial # is a 1967 LG-0, but would love to get an informed opinion.

Welcome to the forum.. But I think you have answered your own questions.. the ink I would imagine is just a batch number.
