Good of dhanners to raise the hipster warning flag as he sees it, but:

 

What IS a hipster ?

 

A hipster is someone who meets this fine Urban Dictionary definition more so than one's own self does: link

 

Could hipsterism also define what guitars we play? Is coolness imparted simply because someone plays old guitars, or, perhaps by the time that becomes the norm, the hipsters have long since left the building (?).

Btw- some of us like the old guitars simply because worn-in ones are more comfortable to live with, and the newer ones that we have get stressed over more.

 

 

Agree with BK, regarding the videographer not helping the guitar nerds wanting to see the guitar in the OP vid, or trying to see left hand tone generation via lack of pick(s) in Mafy's video as well. Ironically, the later YouTube put up by BK777 (with non-studio footage) sounded best.
