Jalex
Same shop that I bought my 63 Hummingbird from just got a 65 Dove. The shop is just down the street from me so I couldn't help but stop by and check it out. The guitar is in remarkable shape for a 65 all original, frets have hardly any wear. I really liked the sound and feel of the Dove. I thought the tune-o-matic bridge might kill the tone but it was a really nice sounding guitar. I wouldn't mind owning the Dove along with my Bird, but the Bird sucked up my guitar fund. Anyway the guitar is on reverb if you guys are interested, the shop owner said he received a call from Blackberry Smokes lead singer/guitar player about the Dove. https://reverb.com/item/3415889-gibson-dove-1965-cherry
OldCowboy
Whoever gets it, they'll be happy. Those tuna-masochistic bridge saddles aren't difficult to swap out, just sayin'.

Yeah, not sure I cared much for the bridge or the placement of the strap pin on the back but I think it's priced very fair considering it's condition. Still had the original case also. OldCowboy
The price is pretty much in line with the current market. Who was it that said if he was starting over he couldn't afford the guitars he owns today?
