Auriemma
I bought this pickup a while ago. I was told it was a Gibson Burstbucker 3 for the neck. I'm thinking not. It ohms out at 8.0-8.1. Hopefully someone here here can ID for me. Thanks in advance.
Auriemma
It's been pointed out there is a T showing out of the lower solder blob. The poles are about 52mm apart as well. If that's of any help.
capmaster
The bottom view says it's an R and T backplate, not a pure R backplate like with the Classics and Burstbuckers, i. e. PAF-style pickups. Since the pole screws are located at the wider T side row of holes, it has to be a T model, designed for the bridge position. The 52mm spacing confirms that. 8.0 to 8.1 kOhms would mean it's probably a 490T.
