Kazik Walusiak Posted February 2, 2017 Share Posted February 2, 2017 I have a 2014 Epiphone Les Paul Trad Pro, and recently I notice that when playing the sound sometimes reduces and also cuts out completely. The sound comes back, and I can play the guitar without any more problems. however every now and then the fault recurs. Does anyone know what the problem is. I have tried jiggling the jack in the input. also this has happened when switching the toggle switch. I really don't know. Can anyone help? kidblast Posted February 2, 2017 Share Posted February 2, 2017 also this has happened when switching the toggle switch. if you're loosing signal when moving the toggle switch, that's probably where it is. you can remove it, hit it with contact cleaner, and see if that helps. deeman Posted February 2, 2017 Share Posted February 2, 2017 Kidblast is probably right. You can also try bending the contacts inside the switch to make sure they are making a good connection.
