GeordiLaforge
I don't know if this is where I should post this, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is envolved with installing the tailpiece like on Angus Youngs guitar. I want to give my sg special brown something to catch peoples eyes, but not if I have to drill holes in my new baby. This is what I'm planing on adding (in case I put the wrong name). http://www.allparts.com/store/tailpieces-tremolo-tailpieces-tp-3680-001,Product.asp

GuitarJunkie
My Explorer has the short Maestro tailpiece, and it attaches to the top with three screws... I poked around the web, and found a shot of an Epiphone Firebird VII with the cover removed. It appears to have two screws in the same spot plus an additional four screws at the end of the "trapeze". So much for no holes.
