drummerdog Posted February 14, 2009 Share Posted February 14, 2009 Hi, first time here and I'm looking for some help. I recently received what I believe is a 1953 Les Paul. I believe it is the "Gold Top". My question is this, the top of this guitar has gold sparkles (glitter) in the finish. It's not perfectly smooth which makes me wonder if this was an original design or was this added by the owner. Anyone ever seen this before?
