gerrymac
I could'nt afford a Gibson like the 'big boys',so bought an Epiphoe jumbo less tha two years ago,I only play it at home picking it up around once-twice a week...I've just noticed the flower deco. on the scratchplate is rubbing off badly...one flower already gone, others disappearing, I realize one gets what one pays for..but less than two years old,..thats surely not right..... pohatu771
The same thing has happened with the Gibsons as well. Nothing you can do about it, really.
gerrymac
Thanks pohatu771....feel better knowing it happens to Gibson's too, [thought I had a faulty one]one would have thought they'd have found a better way of designing them by now......had bloody long enough...poor Gibson's.must be short of cash

gerrymac
Nu metal.????? dont know what you mean.....I realize Gibsons are better quality, but to show signs of wear, with just a little home use is disgraceful....If that had happened with an item from a supermarket ,one could have taken it back and had it replaced.......Its not as if I could buy a new plate and replace it cos' I'd never be able to get the original off ,to replace..............Its no huge deal...just disappointing that a company like Gibsons serves up such poor quality....
