Preamp technology advances all the time, and the Trinity (whilst very good) is likely to be outdated in a few years. The principle of the K&K piezo system has been around since the FRAP pickups in the late ‘70s and is a very much tried and true way of amplifying a guitar. Using the Mini means you have scope to use that reliable, time-tested system through whatever preamp you want, whenever you like. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
