503763 Gibson Mastertone Banjo

Robert in California long time owner of a Gibson Mastertone Banjo which I bought back in the early 70's I honestly don't remember the year. I have the serial number and just wondering if there is some place to input the Serial Number to see if I can identify the year it was made. I did find one on a site that was very close to my serial number and it was shown as a RB250 1968 model but I'm sure I didn't buy it in 1968 although it could have been sitting on the shelf for a couple of years.
