Help Identifying My Les Paul

JEFFMARTINAZ

Recommended Posts

Hi All, I recently purchased a batch of 12 guitars from a man, and I received a Les Paul in the group. Please don't hate on me, but LPs just aren't my thing. I'm a kid from the 80s and only own super-strats. I know it has to be a studio, but it doesn't look like the standard studio I come across. I'd love any help you all can provide. Thanks.   - Jeff\

Looks like a standard 2012 Gibson Les Paul Studio in Vintage Sunburst finish, and a previous owner changed the 490R and the 498T for some naked Dimarzio's.
(Or just removed the chrome covers.)

Nice guitar.

Here's a link describing all the original features.

Hi, I replied on my phone, but I don't see that it submitted it. Oh, well. I'll just type again. I don't think this is correct here. The guitar still has the 490R and the 498T. The 2012 date is is on a small white decal on back, so these are the originals.

The seller said something about a Tribute model. I don't know much about those other than just in passing, but that's the clue I'll use with Google. Thanks for your help here.

Anyone else have an ideas? Merry Christmas to you all!

Jeff
