ogormania
Does anyone know what the finish of the tuners of the 2020 Gibson Les Paul Special Tributes is? The site lists the hardware as "chrome" but all locking replacements I can find are nickel. Also Kluson seems to not make Vintage Deluxe Tuners with the bean buttons in chrome, only nickel as per their site. So I'm wondering if the tuners on my Tribute are actually nickel. Only a few models of Gibsons have these style tuners with hardware listed as "chrome" but that could be the bridge. I find it hard to believe Gibson would source all nickel tuners except for a few models which get chrome tuners. But I could be wrong. The reason I want to know this is because if they are chrome, I don't want to mix metals, ie chrome bridge and nickel tuners. But if the metals are already mixed, ie the tuners are in fact nickel, then I can be confident in the nickel locking replacements looking identical. Thanks for your time. This is my first Gibson and my first post.
ogormania
Bump. Can anyone help? Kluson style tuners with bean buttons are they chrome or nickel? Emailed Gibson and they were no help unfortunately.
Rabs
If its chrome it will be shiny, if its nickel it will be a dull silver... Maybe post a picture if you can?
