Weird Gipson ba Posted May 16, 2021 Share Posted May 16, 2021 Did the Michigan Gipson shop put hand written manufacturer labels in gituars? I have a EB 2 with a hand written manufacturer label. pohatu771 Posted May 16, 2021 Share Posted May 16, 2021 Yes, Kalamazoo labels were often, but not always, hand written, or might be a mix of stamped model numbers and hand-written serial numbers. I'm not sure what an EB-2S would be; sunburst would be notated as EB-2, while cherry and natural would get a C and N suffix, respectively.
