I was wondering if I'd be able to use it with my Roland Micro Cube (mainly with big over-ear headphones). Just for private practice. Riffster Posted March 30, 2009 Share Posted March 30, 2009 Headphones are meant to play the full range of frequencies so a bass will not hurt them. I am not sure what kind of speakers the micro cube has but the main problem I see of using a guitar speaker to play bass is that guitar speakers are designed for midrange frequencies which is where the guitar sound is ideal. Bass and PA speaker reproduce more bass and will not be damagaed by a bass. I recently bought a bass and play it through my Boss Micro BR and the the out to headphones or my home audio system.
