Bridge pickup gets really weak while the neck is fine. Toggle issue?

When I play my Les Paul, the neck pickup has full signal, but when I go to the bridge, the signal gets really weak, another issue is when I turn down the bridge pickup and the neck is full on, When I go to the bridge to kill the sound, I can still hear signal from the neck, could it be a toggle switch issue? Or do I need to get new pickups?

Hmm...I doubt if you need new pickups.  What model/type of LP is it?

From what you write it sounds like the wiring;  of course the bridge pickup invariably does sound a bit weaker than the neck due to the position of the latter.

But you say 'signal gets really weak' so I am guessing it's wired wrongly and out of phase.

The best thing to do would be to take it to someone who knows but....that will cost.
