agarlan78
I am using a Gibson ES333 into a 1971 Vibrolux Reverb. I'm looking for a high quality overdrive or distortion pedal for this setup. I've heard that tubescreamer type pedals are too midrangy for a 335/333. Can anyone recommend a non-tubescreamer type pedal that would sound sweet with the 333? Anyone have experience with Fulltone? Thanks!
jsmidt
Check out ThroBak Electronics http://www.gundrymedia.typepad.com/ I use a StoneBender for the Les Paul and the 335. Works well for me. Gundry's designs are based on vintage circuits but he adds some tweaks to give you the ability to adjust your tone. The Overdrive Boost is looking pretty good and may end up on my board soon. Hall
Go to www.HipKittyProducts.com and look at the Cream Distotion. It is great on semi hollows. P sometimes use an old pro co Rat as well.
