Steve_Tones
Hi, Has anyone had a finish problem on an Inspired By Les Paul. My Steve Jones has developed a nasty peeling off on the top and near the bridge. I am worried that the lovely ladies might peel off as well (so to speak). Not too worried as the whole deal is a relic but I do not want it to end up like a piece of garden furniture that has been left in the sun too long. Any clues or comms??? http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r221/coljllama/2009-04-01_0023.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r221/coljllama/2009-04-01_0024.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r221/coljllama/2009-04-01_0022.jpg
Tim Plains
Why don't you contact Gibson and ask them? How about posting some shots of the whole guitar? You don't see too many of those...
chongo
This is indicative of a badly applied or poorly cured final coat. "Contact Gibson" is the right thing to do.
