I used to live in the UK, but never knew the prices there... to me thats too much for a marshall... maybe im just used to live by us prices.. howmuch are your bogners? I wouldn´t get it fixed until it really needs to be - or until I had the money in spare. But yes, it can be done. I had some inlay work done on my first "The SG" because it only had a printed logo and I wanted a mother of pearl inlay sooooooooo bad. But don´t remember what it cost since that was some 25 years ago. In your case it may be possible to remove the inlays and put them back into place with some black filler. And some clear coat of course. Do you remember the pics of the Angus Guitar from everything SG? He had the complete headstock inlay changed and the black bakelite plate that holds it.
