JoelZ
Just seeing if any of the fine guitarist on this forum owned or have played a true hollowbody. I have owned and played many semi's but not a true hollow. I saw on CME they had this Epi Casino that caught my eye and was thinking about it. My main concern would be the feedback issues. On the semi's I have played I never had that much of an issue I could not manage going pretty aggressive on a 50watt tube head. Just not sure how manageable or unmanageable the hollow would be. Any thoughts? https://www.chicagomusicexchange.com/products/epiphone-casino-worn-sunrise-orange-cme-exclusive-1015750
Larsongs
I own 4 Epiphone Casino’s.. IMO they are the most versatile Electric Guitar you can own…. I have a Vintage Sunburst Peerless with Bigsby, Natural finish JL Revolution, a Ltd Edition Vintage Sunburst 50th Anniv. 1961 Re-Issue with Tremotone & a new Royal Tan USA Casino.. While the Entry level Casino’s appear to be built good & very reasonably priced I’m not a fan of the Asian P90 Pickups.. That said, an upgrade to Fralin or Lollar P90’s isn’t too expensive & will make these Guitars sound Great! A Bigsby is a great addition too…. I use to own a few Epi LP ES and played the 339 ES and thought those were all pretty versatile. Never owned a P90 equipped guitar. Always been use to HB's. Any thoughts/input on feed back issues with the Hollowbody Casino? Thanks
Larsongs
Casino’s being Hollow Body can feedback.. But, for me, that’s not a bad thing.. You just learn how to control it.. It’s a great Effect… The Beatles, John, Paul & George, played them extensively with no problems… Paul still does & plays it on his 2022 Got Back Tour…. IMO, it is the most versatile Guitar you can own..
