Fred_Engr
From reading all of the postings in this forum I realize there are some very knowledgable guitar players who are members. I currently own a Yahama LL400 and considering purchasing a new Gibson Doves in Flight guitar. Can you provide me some insight and considerations with purchasing this guitar? Your opinions and experience would be appreciated.
guitarstrummer
Welcome to the forum. The DIF is a great guitar, if you have the bucks. I've been wanting one for years. My dream guitar would be a custom DIF, with koa back/sides.
dodge
It's certainly a beatiful guitar to look at, and they sound amazing. The one I played had a very powerful voice. I would definately try before you buy though because they do have a very thin neck, i believe it's 1.575" wherea's a J-45 is a 1.725" It does make strumming chords a breeze but I found it too cramped for finger picking.
