I didn't even know there where 335 without F-Holes but after a quick search now I know some models come like that. Doing a serial number search it comes out to be from: Production year: 26 October 1989 (serial nr.: 565) For what I can find online looks to be legit but has been modded for the Bigby and they changed the pickups. jdgm Posted July 18, 2022 Share Posted July 18, 2022 It looks like a legit late 80s ES-335 Studio from the pics, though like you I am not an expert. I searched on Google for; 335 without f-holes and there are plenty of images which are similar and from the same period. The plastic around the jack socket is interesting and not original - possibly from a Varitone switch (not standard on this guitar) - but a 4-way Varitone? Hmm.
