Murph Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Spanish Nights. He's still got it. Richie going acoustic is a good thing. And even this is 10 years old..... There are several albums. Murph.
Murph Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 Wow. Nobody? I own.... 1; Under A Violet Moon. 2; Shadow Of The Moon. 3; Fires At Midnight. Here's a clue. He played lead guitar for Deep Purple.
MR GIBS Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 See what I think: Ritchie Blacmore (RB) is a great, great, great guitarist, composer and showman. Candice Night (CN) is his wife. She is a very beautiful woman. She is not (her personal vocal and dance skills) an artist of the RB's rank. She is his wife. I have all of the "Blackmore's Night" albums. I prefere to listen to "Shadow of the moon" (the first one). I like it. I respect much the desire of RB to play acoustic with his wife and the whole band. Only I think that the idea is allready a little bit stale. One of my great hopes in life is that RB returns to the Hard-Rock-Sound. And gather the "Rainbow" hard-rock group again. At least David Coverdale makes wonders with his new "Whitesnake" now on stage! RB is sinking "in the shadow of" CN. Maybe RB is happy to do what he is doing in the past 15 years. And I respect that. But in the same moment maybe there are many people in the world who think as I think. Maybe it is time to get back to the rock.

As for Blackmore's Night... :D But, then again, I suppose he's happy and that's the important thing. -Magnus
