Big Red Viking
Greetings folks. I have an Epi FT-145 acoustic that I was given many years ago. It's a nice guitar, plays well and has grteat tone. But that's about all I know about it. Can anyone tell me anything more about this guitar model such as approx. value? thanx BRV
albertjohn
Welcome to the Forum. I don't know the answer to your question but I'm sure someone will here. Also, have you tried the Epi Forum. It's very good too and many members here are also members in the other place. Hope you get your answer.
oversea
Does it look like this one? http://www.guitar-museum.com/guitar-39406-Guitar-Epiphone-Texan-FT-145 or http://baltimore.craigslist.org/msg/1390828784.html If it does then it's a 70's (I don't think Epiphone ever made the FT 145 in the 50-60's and therefore its not a US/Gibson made guitar). Not worth that much (150-250dollar) but I've heard some of them are nice guitars. This i from a review of the guitar. "-My Ft-145, as all, has a spruce top and mahogany sides, with a natural finish. It has a rosewood fingerboard." That's pretty much everything I know about it. Never played one.
