JohnLL
Does anyone know when the software will work with Windows 7? Is this really up to Gibson, or Guitar Rig and Ableton? Since Guitar Rig is currently on release 4, is that what we get or are we getting the old version? Also, has anyone used any of the free ASIO drivers successfully to lower the latency? Doesn't GR or Ableton supply an ASIO driver that will work? Thanks.
Gibson CS
Use the Vista Drivers these work fine with Win7 More details here: http://www.techspot.com/blog/354/no-windows-7-drivers-yet-try-using-vistas/
JohnLL
Actually, my PC has XP, and I'm not planning on upgrading to Win 7 until GR and Ableton will run on that OS. From what I've read, I thought MS Windows did not provide an ASIO driver for any of their OS, or if they do, it's not very efficient. I understand that using an ASIO driver that bypasses the Windows process helps reduce the latency built into Windows. Somehow, MAC gets around this issue, but MS doesn't.
