If it sounds & plays really nice, who cares if it has the date under the serial number or such. As long as it has the wings on the headstock, it's OK. I partially agree with you. I don't care if a 1990's regular LP Standard or an R9 from 2001 has the original pups' date=' but I gotta keep my Heritage 80's stock with Shaw's and USA Grovers and I'd have a Spotlight Special or Korina V the same way if I ever owned them.[/color'] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
